I. Performance and use

1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) is a cationic surfactant, a non-oxidizing bactericide, with a broad spectrum and high efficiency in killing bacteria and algae, can effectively control the growth of bacteria and algae and slime in water, and has good slime stripping effect and certain dispersion and penetration effect, and also has certain degreasing, deodorizing and corrosion inhibition ability.

1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) has low toxicity, no cumulative toxicity, is easily soluble in water, and is not affected by water hardness. Therefore, it is widely used in circulating cooling water systems in the petroleum, chemical, electric power, textile and other industries to control the growth of bacteria and algae in the circulating cooling water system, and is particularly effective in killing sulfate-reducing bacteria.

1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) can be used as a bactericide and mildew preventer, softener, antistatic agent, emulsifier, conditioner, etc. in the textile printing and dyeing industry.

3. Usage

1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) is used as a non-oxidizing bactericide and algaecide, and the general dosage is 50-100 mg/L; as a slime stripping agent, the dosage is 200-300 mg/L, and an appropriate amount of silicone defoamer can be added when necessary. 1227 can be used in combination with other fungicides, such as isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, dithiocyanomethane, etc., to enhance the effect, but it cannot be used together with chlorophenols. After adding 1227, dirt appears in the circulating water due to stripping, which should be filtered or removed in time to avoid sedimentation after the foam disappears.

1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) should not be mixed with anionic surfactants.

IV. Safety and protection 1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) has a slight almond smell and has no obvious irritation to the skin. When it comes into contact with the skin, rinse it with water.

V. Packaging and storage: 1227 (dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) is packaged in plastic barrels, 25kg or 200 kg per barrel. Store in a cool and ventilated place indoors, with a storage period of two years.
