1. Product Introduction

25% polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride aqueous solution, its active ingredient is polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride. Polyhexamethyleneguanidine has been listed in the 2002 edition of the "Disinfection Technical Specifications" of the Ministry of Health of the Peoples Republic of China as a bactericidal disinfectant, and is also recognized by the international ISO environmental label as a green choice. Domestic and foreign studies have shown that polyhexamethyleneguanidine has a high disinfection and bactericidal activity, and has a strong killing and inhibitory effect on Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi, viruses, etc., with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.37-12.5µg/ml. Polyhexamethyleneguanidine has a broad-spectrum, long-term and efficient bactericidal and disinfecting ability. Its toxicity has been identified as a non-toxic bactericide after testing. It is completely non-irritating to the skin and mucous membranes and can be completely biodegraded. Its unique bactericidal mechanism will not produce any drug resistance. 2. Mechanism of Action

Polyhexamethylene guanidine is a disinfectant and sterilizing ingredient. It is a cationic polymer that is easily adsorbed by other negatively charged bacteria and viruses, thereby inhibiting the division function of bacteria and viruses, causing bacteria and viruses to lose their reproductive function. In addition, the envelope formed by the polymer blocks the respiratory tract of microorganisms, causing microorganisms to suffocate and die.
